Hey everyone!  I am still alive and well, and this season is going great!  I’ve had the most amazing families to work with and together we have created tons of fun, fun images!!  I can’t wait to start sharing, but I’ve got to get these darling Christmas Cards posted first!

This year I have added a few new cards for you to choose from and I am so delighted with the design… I am in love with Chevron stripes and the simple and clean look as well!  I have posted a few of the cards here with the designs, and then I have a whole slew of other cards to choose from as well.  So if your interested in seeing the whole collection, just email me and I’ll get you the code to my site.

All of the cards are printed on fine linen paper or metallic paper, and some are cut as die cuts with cute creative cut out designs.  Envelopes are included.

Each set is a pack of 24, and must be purchased in those increments.

1 – 4×5.5 linen set = $40
1 – 4×5.5 pearl set = $50

1 – 5×7 linen set = $50
1 – 5×7 pearl set = $60

This includes adding in your photos (whether or not it was taken by me), and adding the family names. Any additional changes in the wording, amount of photos on the card, colors on the card, etc. is an additional $20. All cards are fully customizable with colors, images and messaging.

You may also just order the customized design from me, so that you can order your cards from your favorite printer.  This fee is $40.

New Designs:

Gotta love these spunky kids… they must get it from their parents, who are quite amazing people!  I love shooting in the home, it’s so fun to create art out of you and your family.  It can be so much more than “family pictures”.

This above image is just what I am talking about.  You could have a nice random picture of flowers on your wall as art, or this.  Your sweet child and your pups… your family art.  This would look amazing as a 4 foot gallery wrap canvas at the end of the hallway.

Don’t you just love the drool?

My poor blog has been neglected… so sorry, I have been so crazy backed up that nothing is getting on here… yikes!!

I did want to share about my daughter and her baptism day.  We are LDS, and when our children turn 8, they are baptized as official members of our church.

This was a very special day for her and for our family.

Hope you enjoy the images.

I took a few pictures of her in her white dress at the Mesa Temple.  The baptism was performed on a different day in a regular church building with a font, but the temple is so important to us as a family since it is where we were sealed (married) for this life and all eternity.

Before Addie’s baptism, we had a family brunch at our house with all the cousins and friends.

Mal and I were excited to try some new ideas off of our crazy addiction Pinterest!

So glad I made it into one photo for the day… that’s rare, right?

Cousins are the best!

Oh, and you can check out my personal profile here.

Just had to post these few pictures of mustaches! These are such a fun fad right now, and I LOVE them!  They always make me laugh out loud!

This way cool family grew out all of their mustaches just in enough time for our photo shoot!

And this image was taken at the end of our summer edition of “Cake Wars”.  The cakes did not turn out, but to end the day in side splitting laughter while the kids put chocolate frosting mustaches on made the day worth it.

And I love these tee’s we made before summer ended.. thank you to my new addiction “Pinterest” for the inspiration!  My boys are afraid I am going to put every picture of them on my blog, can you tell?  Can’t figure out why..

Baby shoots are so much fun because you are around this beautiful little bundle, and yet they are a little more work because the little bundle’s needs must come first!  This little guy was no exception, he made his mark all over the white towels!  But looking at this shot, do you think he cared?   Neither did I….

Photoshop Basics – ($225)  Friday, Sept. 30th from 8:30 – 2:30 (lunch provided)

I have been blessed to train and coach over 200 students over the years in photography, photoshop and lightroom.  I love teaching, and I love being able to share in person the how and what about all of these topics.  It is so helpful to be able to learn with someone in person rather than online.  It’s time for another photoshop class!  Let me know if you have any further questions by emailing me below.

Click here for more details, and email me to get registered.

Ocean front property in Arizona?  I say yes!  Just a short 6 hour drive to Southern California from Phoenix and we are there baby!!  It’s actually so fun to do beach photography in Southern Cali for my great Phoenix clients, so many of us play on the California beaches every year if not a couple times per year, that it makes sense to capture the memories of your family playing on the beach together!   I love that this family was so playful, and they would laugh about everything, so it made it all so relaxed and easy to work with them.   Doesn’t this just make your toes antsy for some sand to curl up in?  I will be doing beach photography again during Fall Break, whether you are from Phoenix or not, meet me there!  See the details on my site here.

The ever so sweet Ava is here!  She held on just long enough to make sure the family was home from a long road trip, and safely to the hospital.   Isn’t she so sweet?

Just got my hands on my own copy of this month’s 202 magazine, where I was lucky to work with editor Sondra Barr on a fashion editorial and the cover shot!  It was tons of fun coordinating with the girls, meeting the great ladies involved.  Brooke at Blossom Salon and Boutique, Ashley Nicole with Makeup and Casey Brough and Katie Bonn who both do hair at Blossoms were are amazing to work with!  The girls were all gorgeous and fun and of course I took way too many pictures, Sondra selected what she wanted for the editorial, and I’ll show you some of my other fave’s here.  Grab a snack, there is lots of images…

Here is the cover shot, we took this in the hallway at Westwood High School, I love the old look of that school and it fit right into our concept.  The next few shots are the pieces for the editorial….

We had put together 3 outfits for each girl, one vintage, one bohemian, and one skater/beachy.  The piece worked in just the boho which is crazy popular this season!

The rest of the images are some of my favorites from the rest of the shoot.  Blossoms Salon is in downtown Mesa, which is frequented by photographers all the time, so I tried to work with things in the area that I hoped hadn’t been used before so that it was more original.  Arizona is not the nation’s hot spot for locations, so lately I’ve been really working on making something out of nothing.  It has stretched me creatively and some of my favorite shoots have been behind a Walmart, and in some bushes in some random parking lot… you’d be amazed!  So, for those of you asking about locations, those are my newest favorite spots!

This darling vintage bike was a 3 wheeler!!  Loved it!!

Once we got to this part of the shoot, we wanted everything FUN, so these last shots are all my favorites!

Umm, Green Caddy???  Yes!!!
